The International Conference on “Indo-Afghan Relations: Evaluating the Development and Strategic Partnership” was organised by the Centre for Studies in International Relations and Development (CSIRD), Kolkata in collaboration with the Academy of International Studies (AIS), Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi and the Institute of Foreign Policy Studies (IFPS), University of Calcutta. The conference was also funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Eastern Regional Centre, Kolkata. This was the first international conference of CSIRD under its Pakistan-Afghanistan-Iran Programme and was held during 21-22 March, 2017 at the Ho Chi Minh Conference Room, Academy of International Studies (AIS), Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
